Northtown Animal Hospital at 839 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Buffalo, New York.

I will never use this vet again. We took our furbaby in with painful stones in her bladder, and this vet stated our gurl needed a very expensive surgery immediately or she would die. When we stated that we couldn't afford the 3 grand surgery all at once, and asked for a payment plan or other options to treat our baby, this vet very insensitively suggested we surrender her to the humane society so they would perform the surgery. This vet stated it was better to give her up forever than let her die. She was rude and harsh and uncaring. We took our baby to Ken-ton vet clinic. This vet examined her, dislodged the stone that was preventing our girl from urinating with his hand, and out her on a special diet of prescription food designed to break up these type stones. That was one month ago. Today on her follow up visit, she is well and healthy and the stones are broken up. NO TRAUMTIC SURGERY AT ALL!!! And obviously, it didn't require giving away this loved member of our family. Why didn't northtown suggest this special diet??? They seemed to be all about the money. Even xrays at ken-ton were half the price of northtown. Northtown has a lot to learn about customer service, trauma informed care, and apparently non surgical treatment plans.
