Trying to schedule an appointment here is a ridiculous process. First you need a letter from your primary Doctor that you are essentially a "drug addict" - that your doctor knows you are said "addict," and that its okay with your primary that you can be seen here. Now, the problem I've had is that my primary Doctor has refused to write that letter, probably because he was writing the prescription for painkillers for many years. What if you do not have a primary Doctor? What if you don't have insurance? Why does anyone need a note from their primary? If you say you're a person who is currently addicted or has been addicted, then help that person! Stop with the red tape. There is one Doctor here that you should run for the hills if you end up seeing him. Not sure his name - he is foreign, tall, dark hair and dark eyes. He is horrible. He is loud, he screams (literally screams) at you in your appointment, and he is verbally abusive. Do not see this man. Help in this area is dispicable, especially since this area writes the most scripts for painkillers (Gosy) and cash office doctors. Bottom line - if someone asks for help, and you are a place that is supposed to give help, then help IMMEDIATELY.
